Designing for Primus Senior Living presented a unique opportunity for us as interior designers to create an environment that not only meets the practical needs of its residents but also enhances their quality of life. Our approach was deeply rooted in an understanding of the significance of color, materials, and spatial arrangements in fostering a sense of well-being.
The color palette was carefully selected to embody soothing and warm tones that instill comfort and tranquility, essential elements for senior living. We opted for soft furnishings that are both inviting and ergonomic, prioritizing the users' physical ease. Additionally, we employed natural materials, such as lime plaster, which promote better air quality, and Kota stone, known for its durability and aesthetic appeal.
To reflect the site's context in Bangalore's garden city, our design embraced an eclectic tropical vibe, creating a harmonious connection between the indoors and the lush surroundings. The lounge was envisioned as a serene garden setting, encouraging social interaction while providing a tranquil retreat for relaxation.
